This webquest is to help educate all members of society to get a better glimpse of the life of Harriet Tudman, and the many things that she did to help bring about the movement of education and freedom. It is important to remember  where weve come from so that we can have a better glimpse of who we are as individuals.

Standards

Further demonstrating the weakness of having culture as a separate strand, the culture TEKS frequently stipulate that students are to identify “the contributions of people of various racial, ethnic, and religious groups” [Grade 4 (a)(1); (b)(20); (b)(20)(c); Grade 5 (b)(4)(g); (b)(23); etc.] as well as understand the “differences within various and selected racial, ethnic, and religious groups” [Grade 4 (b)(20)(A); Grade 5 (b)(23)(A); etc.]. But since many individuals do not belong to a “selected racial, ethnic, or religious group,” does this mean they have made no specific contributions or that there is nothing to understand about them? And

Credits

I want to think all of my mentors who help to empower me as I continued my way throughout this course. I have became inspired as I watched them so tentatively deliver lesson after lesson to their students. I have watched the passion that they possess for teaching as well, as the energy that transpired over to their students.
