Over the River and Through the Woods....

This webquest was designed to give 5th grade students information regarding area and perimeter prior to them creating a gingerbread house.  The students are creating individual gingerbread houses following some geometry directions.  (i.e. - make a skylight out of smarties with an area of 12 smarties squared, etc.)  I did this Webquest over a 4-day period, and then one double period the boys worked on building their gingerbread house.
