Business Ethics is such an important and interesting subject, not only for the sake of the syllabus but to help us teachers to practice our role also as educators.  It gives us room to help student develop into holistic individuals into responsible citizens.

As a matter of fact the structure of this web-quest is set up in such a way that first the topic of business ethics is dealt with by reflecting on personal experience and then learn how businesses apply ethical or unethical behaviour in their businesses. Students are first asked to think of ways of how they practice ethical behaviour within the school; something they are familiar with. This will be their leading point to better understand business ethics, and hence understand how and which businesses practice business ethics or not.

Afterwards, by surfing the internet, students will find concrete evidence / examples of businesses that apply ethical or unethical behaviour in their business.  The fact that they are searching for informaiton equips students with life-long learning techniques. Additionally, being assigned to work in a group gives students  implications of knowledge sharing, which is an important aspect in the world of learning.

Resources needed to complete this task include the use of computers and internet.  Additionally, appreciation is shown towards external web-links found within this web-quest.  They are full of valuable information which we found extremely useful.
