WebQuest

Personal Finance- Renting a House

Teacher Page

This webquest was designed to help students understand expenses and budgeting.  With a more advanced class, the teacher could have students research buying a house, finding mortgage rates, placing a down payment, and paying home owner's insurance.

A computer lab is required.  A calculator would be useful, but it is not required.  This lesson should take up between one or two 90 minute classes.  It could take students some time to find the house they wish to rent.
