This webquest is about studying and understanding the young adult novel Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick.  The story is very moving and most students enjoy it.  There are many themes  which students really respond to such as:  King Arthur and the knights of the round table, students who combine forces to combat bullies; adults and children, and friendship that means everything to Max and Kevin.

The story and activities will last around a month, but can be used as a six week unit.
