Behind the Anger and Fog of Alcoholism
Teacher Page
The use of various technologies throughout this webquest provides a means to implement Bloom's Taxonomy. Incorporating fact sheets, Q&A, and puzzles allow students to establish a baseline of factual knowledge about Schizophrenia. Quizzes and tests enable students to begin to apply some of the learned facts to situations in their experience or environment. Use of vignettes, auditory, and video clips expand student opportunities to apply their knowledge to make decisions to simulated situations in a low-risk manner. The requirement to review an educational movie and book is included to motivate students to continue their informal learning about Schizophrenia and mental illness in entertaining and non-threatening forums.
