First Grade Social Studies Web Quest

This webquest is about many common first grade objectives in social studies.  Some of the sections may take a few days to complete (American History, World History) while others may require a one day session (Geography, Economics, Civics/Social Studies).  Please feel free to use the webquest as you need it!  This was intended as a resource to use in the classroom as well as for individual use.  This webquest uses many hands on activities and projects for students to create.  Several language arts projects are incorporated also.  Since this is inteded for first grade many visual aids are used to help emergent readers and students with special needs.  Videos contain both visual and auditory support.  You will notice on each page, that the Arizona Standard is identified for students.  I fell that it is important for students to know that they are working toward a goal.  I hope that you find this webquest useful.  I did my best to make it a resource for busy educators to use.

Economics Strand Concept 1 PO 1 Discuss the difference between basic needs and wants.

I created this webquest in a social studies Master's course. I had little experience with Web Quest and found that this is such an amazing tool to use.
