This is a fairly quick classroom lesson, from start to finish 45 mins. This lesson would be great as an introduction lesson. For students that haven't quite grasp reading, There are two hyperlinks to youtube videos of Eric Carl's books being read aloud. This is a great way to incorperate technology into the classroom and peak your students interest. There is also a hyperlink to a website that will help your students track the whereabouts of the monarch butterfly. This creates a fun gateway into science from Social Studies.
