Idioms in Your Pocket

This WebQuest will help you learn and understand numerous Idioms and Phrases in your native and English Language and increase your critical thinking and cultural and language awareness. There are three Tasks that will help you in understanding idioms:

Task 1. Looking for various Idioms in English and finding their significance in your native and English language.

Task 2. Working on their proper pronunciation and usage of the idioms on different daily situations.

Task 3. You will work and create idiom posters, flyers and brochures together with your group members that will explain the literal and figurative meaning of the idioms and will visitors in terms of English and Kosovar culture, customs and idiom usage.

Undoubtedly, the correct usage of idioms is finesse, which makes the language of the speaker more vivid and exciting.
