Flight

 ONE:      Historic event / person

You are going to find out about an important event, aircraft, or person who contributed to the growth of aviation. You will create a poster on an A3 piece of paper. Your poster will include the year when your event happened, the year your plane first flew, or the year your person made their contribution to aviation.  We are going to display these posters in the class to create an aviation timeline.  Your poster will be peer assessed.

TWO:     FOUR FORCES

Everything that flys is dependent on the four forces involved in flight.  As part of a cooperative group you will find out about one of these forces, its effect on a plane and then share this knowledge with your group.  Your group will produce a power point to show the each of the four forces. You will recieve a group mark for this activity.
