Kindergarten Geography: Mapping Skills

On Day 1, we will explore some games on our laptops together as a class, while we learn how to use words to give directions!  We will give directions to partners to get a stuffed animal from our classroom door to a chosen destination, while creating a map of the trip!

On Day 2, we will learn about map symbols and go on an Island Adventure with our laptops!

Day 3, will be a day for us to play a matching game on our laptops, and then create our own USA maps!

Day 4, we will explore animlas around our world using our laptops and considering where and how they live!  Then, we will play pass with globes!

On our final day, Day 5, we will work with partners to create maps of our school to help a chosen animal get from our classroom to their destination!
