Nutrition in school

The task is to write a letter to your districts superintendent outlining the reasons why school lunches are not nutritional and providing better options. The letter will be 5 full paragraphs with an introduction stating your clear purpose as well a conclusion that reiterates your main points. The letter should pull actual meals from the school lunch menu and break down their nutritional value, comparing it to that of a nutritional meal per "My plate." Once you have made the need for change clear, you are to use the My plate standards to come up with a suitable and balanced lunch proposal for the school. Finally, look into some local places that could help supply fresh produce and other non-processed foods to your school. Look to suggest local business "partnerships" that can benefit both the school and the community.
