Sense Oragns

In this WebQuest students should be able to identify the sense organs and relate each to its associated functions. They should also be able to explain the importance of each sense organ and distinguish ways in which each sense organ is used to detect stimuli. Students should also analyze situations or examples in which the sense organs can mislead us and recognize the limitations of our senses.

Pupils will: 

• Classify given samples or materials - with reference to smell, touch, taste (nutritious foods only with the teacher's guidance), tabulate findings, to include the organs and associated functions involved.
• Students will discuss and then do a role play incident where the senses are used to protect the body. Students should also record their experiences.
