You will learn how to begin and develop your arguments using various techniques so that you can write or give a persuasive speech or simply employ the techniques in daily living.

Here's a checklist of things to accomplish by the end:

• Explain the difference between persuasive writing and expository writing
• name at least three persuasive techniques
• develop at least three points for an argument
• write at least three paragraphs using one persuasive techniques in each
