Tasks - Types of fire and classes of fire extinguishers

The objective of this webquest is to know the action plan and the classification of the emergency teams, as well as the sequence to follow in the action plan.
The student's task is to gather information on websites, videos and maps to explain all these characteristics. The activity will be carried out in groups of 3 or 4 students.
First, they must write a summary in which they have established the objectives, the information, the sources visited.
Second, create a flash card that consists of summary tables of that information.
With this, it is intended to awaken in students the spirit of initiative and strengthen their interest and motivation.

Classification of Emergency Scenarios
Description: In most of today’s emergency scenarios information plays a crucial role. Therefore, information has to be constantly collected and shared among all rescue team members and this requires new innovative technologies. In this paper a classification of emergency scenarios is presented, describing their special characteristics and common strategies employed by rescue units to handle them. Based on interviews with professional firefighters, requirements for new systems are listed. The goal of this article is to support developers designing new systems by providing them a deeper look into the work of first responders.
