Amusement Park Outbreak

Since you have just finished your book study on "Code Orange," and you were introduce to the infectious disease that plaqued many people over 110 years ago, you will have the opprtunity to do research on an infectious disease like Mitty and his friends. This WebQuest challenges you to research and find out all you can about an infectious disease including the symptoms, where the disease origniated, and if there is a cure or vaccine.  Also keep in mind the following questions while completing your research: How are we as individuals responsible for outbreaks of infectious diseases?
How can we prevent infectious diseases from spreading?

You will end this WebQuest with knowledge of diseases and how they affect society. You will also know how vaccinations can prevent outbreaks, and how treatments are available to those in need.
The culminating activity is for you to work in a group of four and create a media presentation using google slides on one infectious disease that you've researched and interests you. As a group, you will present your disease to the class along with an informational brochure that will include the disease, symptoms, where the outbreak occurred, and if there is a cure/vaccine.

Each of you will have a specific "job" to perform in your group.  It is up to you as a group to decide who takes on what role in your group.  Each group member is expected to perform their specified job.
