The Environment

Imagine that you live in the rural area of the country. Everyday, your neighbor decides to sweep her yard and end by burning the trash in several heaps of piles which causes enormous smokes to breathe aimlessly in the air. Recently, you have developed an infection in your lungs and the doctor said it is caused by inhalation of bad air from the environment. 

Your assignment is to create a  2 page presentation in Microsoft Word to share with your class what you have learned about the environment and what causes air pollution.

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to create a definition for an environment. 

Students should be to describe and tell the uses of at least 8 different objects found in their environment.

After viewing a YouTube video, students should be able to discuss among themselves different organisms found in the environment. 

After a brief class discussion, students should be able to accurately differentiate among living and non living organisms. 

Students are required to make a list of living and non living organisms that are inside and outside of the classroom.

From this topic, students would have been able to develop their writing skills as they will be constructing most of the notes on their own. Their speaking skills should able be developed from the various discussions that they will be engaged in. Additionally, their viewing and thinking skills will be developed as they must have to think critically in order to arrive at a consensus and view the many details that surround them.
