WebQuest
Sum, Difference, Product, and Quotient of Functions
Tasks
Below I have outlined the tasks you should have accomplished by the time the class period is complete. Anything you have not finished will be for homework due at the beginning of class tomorrow.
1) Read the Introduction of the WebQuest, if you have not already, to familiarize yourself with the topics being covered in the lesson.
2) Read through the Process portion of the WebQuest to understand the material.
3) Watch the Instructional Video in the Process portion of the WebQuest to watch me go through function operations and explain the material in detail.
4) With your other partners at your table you will go to the Google Document I have shared with you and your group labeled "Group # Google Document" to...
a) Fill in the "Cheat Sheet" Chart with the general solutions to each function operation.
b) Solve the exercises as a group, talk through how you got each solution, and write the answer in the Group # Google Document. (Each problem should be written out on a piece of paper with everyone's name in it so I can see your work for each problem; due at the beginning of class tomorrow)
5) On your own, log into the Google Document that I have shared with the entire class labeled "Reflection Google Document" and...
a) Write 3-5 sentences on how the lesson went, what you struggled with, and what you excelled at.
b) Write any questions you may have that you are still unclear about from the lesson.
c) Answer any questions that another student has written that you are confident in answering.
**Each post must have your name in parenthesis before your reflection, question, or answers. Example: "(Mr. Harriman) ....Insert reflection, etc.....".**
6) HAVE FUN!! :)
