Parts of the Cell: Organelles

Dear Students!

Welcome to today's WebQuest. Please follow the list below and complete the following tasks today:

1.) In the first 5 minutes of class, complete your warm up on this Google Form link.

2.) Watch this video and take notes on your worksheet.

3.) In your group of 4, decide who will be each of the following organelles: (1) RIBOSOME, (2) MITOCHONDRIA, (3) NUCLEUS, or (4) CELL MEMBRANE.

4.) Visit the following websites to research more about just YOUR organelle:

    Mitochondria

    Ribosome

    Nucleus

    Cell Membrane (called the Plasma Membrane on this website)

5.) Do a Google search and read about your organelle on ONE other website. Make sure to cite the website in your Google Doc!

6.) In your groups, write a skit that explains how the organelles work together to keep the whole cell healthy, or in homeostasis. You may use your notes. Write the skit in one Google Doc and share it with the teacher.
