Commedia Dell Arte

I hope you're ready to embark upon your journey to the Renaissance and back!

You will research and explore the stock characters and scenarios of the Commedia Dell'Arte tradition and follow that tradition from its origins to the present day. Your exploration will culminate in a presentation of an "original scenario" performed in the tradition of Commedia Dell'Arte but in a modern setting.  This Webquest will provide you the opportunity to discover and explore the common themes, characters and traditions that extend from the early Renaissance to present day performances. You will also have the opportunity to present your research in performance and web-based formats.
