To Kill a Mockingbird

Let's start your quest! First print or open the WebQuest Handout (see handout below) in order to answer the questions, reflect on, or comment on the interpretation of the To Kill a Mockingbird movie, which will be needed for submission at the end of the quest. Let's begin with a historical summary of the era in which To Kill a Mockingbird was written.
Task#1: For this task you will need to follow both links below, refer to the WebQuest Handout to answer the questions and quick write.
Task#2: For this task you will take an interactive view of The Jim Crow Laws that were in effect during the time period in which the main characters of To Kill a Mockingbird lived.
1. Visit the Jim Crow Museum link below.
2. After reading through all of the laws, pick four (4) Jim Crow laws that you find interesting or especially mean or ridiculous.
3. Using these four laws, you will answer three questions to help your complete the attached chart.
4. Click the button below to access your chart. Please print and complete this chart to receive full credit on your assignment.
Task #3: For this task you will look at the modernization of racism and how it still plagues America today. Please meet with your assigned partner for this task. Follow the link below and you and your partner need to collaborate and work as a team to answer the questions and complete the assigned activity in the handout pertaining to the modernization of racism
