Brown Bear, Brown Bear
Task
Teachers will divide children into small groups of 8 children per table. There is one teacher to guide the students through the webquest. Students will work together while the teacher helps to guide them to stay on task.
- browse different pictures of animals in real life settings from the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear
- work together with classmates and the teacher(s) to notice and discriminate rhyme.
- identify and name letters
- use letter-sound knowledge
- use and appreciate books
- use print concepts
- interact during read-aloud and book conversations
- use emergent reading skills, and
- retell stories
