Task
Read each scenario to identify the factors and give examples of each by demonstrating in a role play.
Scenario 1
Mike, a sugar cane cultivator, has a tractor and a small harvester to help him in his business. He plants 50 acres of arable land in cane and the other 20 acres in short crops. His family usually assist him but he also has 15 other workers.
Scenario 2
Citrus canners production ltd cans a variety of local fruits for export to the European Market. Krishna Mapp and Associates own the company which has a fleet of vehicles and a largejuice extracting and canning machines. The company has been in operation for six years. During that period, the company has been able to capture the regional prize for the highest foreign exchange earner.
Scenario 3
The Co-operative Taxi Drivers Association has been in operation for the past 10 years. The company has made reasonable profits and has three sub offices to service its clientele. The staff includes 30 drivers, two data entry clerks and one manager. The company has a fleet of 10 cars and two buses.
