Task
Being a good citizen is a tough job, especially if you don't know what the job entails! In order to be a good citizen of the United States and the world, you have to be informed of what is expected of you on a daily basis. This Webquest will help you explore what being a good citizen means, and how you can fully participate as a GREAT citizen, each and every day!
In order to do this, you will complete the following tasks:
- Explore the meaning of citizenship
- Learn about being a good citizen in your family, with friends, at school, in your community, in your country, and the world
- Investigate nonprofit groups and what they do
- Honor a good citizen that you know of
- Jot down what you learn on organizers in your Social Studies notebook
