A cloud is a collection of very thin droplets of water or ice- crystals. The droplets are so small and float, when warm air rises it expands and cools. Cool air can't  hold as much  water vapor as warm air. So some of the water vapor condense into tiny pieces of dust that are floating in the air forms each a tiny droplet around each dust particle. When billions of these droplets come together they become a visible cloud. Clouds move the wind they are pushed along with jet stream, sometimes traveling 100 miles per hour when clouds are apart of a thunderstorm they usually travel travel 30 to 40 miles per hour. The characteristics of the clouds are dedicated to the elements available including the amount of water vapor and temperatures.

Cirrus Clouds: a thick, feathery cloud made up of ice crystals

Cumulus Clouds: a large, puffy cloud that indicates fair weather

Cumulonimbus Clouds: an anvil shaped cloud capable of producing rain, hail, lightning, or even tornadoes
