Underground Railroad

The journey to freedom will not be a simple task.  There are many things you must complete to reach safety; good luck!

 1. First, you must do some research to find out more information about the Underground Railroad.

       2. Then you will discover the code words and hidden messages used on the Underground Railroad.

       3. You will then travel with Harriet Tubman and take the Underground Railroad to Canada where freedom awaits you.

       4. After you have completed your journey,you will use the facts you have learned and your experience to create either a letter, code names, a quilt, or a song that will guide runaway slaves through the Underground Railroad.
