What's in a name?

You will research the links shared in this WebQuest to further your understanding of the classification of organisms.

Then, your teacher will assign you a Kingdom in which you will "discover" a new species. You get to create an organism with characteristics of your choosing, and then using what you have learned, you will classify your organism and assign its scientific name.

You will then share your new species with the class, explaining how you classified the organisms and therefore derived its scientific name.
