Shakespeare and the Elizabethan Drama and Theatre

After doing a research on the Elizabethan Drama and Theatre, you will decide what traditions of the Elizabethan Period are evident in the texts (Merchant of Venice, Macbeth and Hamlet) of Shakespeare you’ve read and you will create a report of four-page opinion paper on the differences and similarities, why you feel Shakespeare should be included in your syllabus, or whether or not you feel the inclusion was necessary with 100% accuracy.

Be sure to cite specific examples from the research as well as the plays.
