The Industrial Revolution

Rationale:
From this unit on the Industrial Revolution, the students will learn to recognize and analyze/think critically about the relationship between people and events, to analyze the human experience through time and space: they will understand the importance of each person as an individual with civil rights, to interpret changes of human and physical systems for the comprehension of history, civics, and economics, and make sound judgments on personal and broader questions of social issues. Thees skills are outlined in the social studies requirement for middel school students.
