Mr. Valley's Travel Agency

Students will create a persuasive speech about a Latin American country which they will present to the class.  Students will attempt to persuade classmates and their instructor to visit that country. 

Students should include elements about the country's government and economy.  (Mr. Valley is interested in a peaceful vacation.  He doesn't want to be in a country where a coup d'etat is happening.)  While you are going to briefly tell him about these topics, make sure you spend much of your time discussing the culture, climate, and interesting information that will convince him to go!
