The Gift of the Magi

Dear students,

You will be required to read the short story, "The Gift of the Magi." After reading, I have provided a quiz (10 points) to check your reading comprehension. The questions are based on the story so if you understand the story, you can definately do the quiz. In case you have any problems with the reading such as vocabularies or the context, I would like you to note them down in your notebook and we will talk about it in class.

After that, write a summary of the story. It should be about one paragraph long. Please type it in your computer, print it out, and hand it in the class (the form of the paper is provided in the link below). The summary should be answered the questions : Who? What? Where? When? Why? How? and told in a chronological order. Grammar and spelling will be marked.
