Review: This WebQuest is for high school students to move toward mastery of visual literacy. It uses two Magritte paintings to challenge students to understand and use art-specific vocabulary (e.g., texture, space, mood), write two papers, and produce a piece of original art. The focus is narrow enough for high school students to grasp readily, and the vocabulary demands are complex and challenging, and are used to guide students' thinking throughout the assignment. The WebQuest is visually appealing, interesting, and engaging.

Review: Hi Kathleen! Loved this WebQuest. The fun part about looking at colleagues' works is that it allows one to soak up the content without having to be a student in that class! It's also great to see things that we never considered before in our own work, that we could incorporate in the future. Loved browsing through it, and will go more in-depth later on...
