You have been given a role to play and a team to compete with. Follow the directions given to you below to prepare your part of the team�s portfolio. Remember, your information is key to your team�s success during basketball season and this assignment is worth 30% of your overall grade.

Use Microsoft word to type your final paper-include some tables, charts, and pictures.

Team Captains:

1.     Work with the other captains and create an outline for your �Coaching Handbook� that includes these parts: a) practice plans b) shooting drills c) ball handling drills d) passing drills e) offensive scheme f) defensive scheme g) block out drills h) coaching tips

 

2.     You may use the coach�s resources for information for each section of your booklet. Gather information for skill cues and diagrams and directions for practice tasks.

 

3.     Prepare ten 30-minute practice plans that use the practice tasks that you found.

 

4.     Create a professional cover for your handbook that includes your role and the names of the authors.
