Visiting Madeline!

In order to start the final step before we visit Madeline, you must become an expert on the book about her!  The best way to do this is by learning about pictures and rhyme!

     1.    Learn about important words by clicking on and listening to them on two charts.        Complete Sight Words 1 first, then go to Sight Words 2.

     2.    Quiz yourself with the Sight Words list. You will click the Play button to listen to the word, then match the written word to its sound.

     3.    Finally, you and your partner will pick a rhyme from Rhyme-A-Week, learn it,  use the picture cards with new, rhyming words and one of the poems using a rhyming word from the rhyme cards.  Then, you will act out your rhyme for the class on your day at circle time.
