1. Your first task is to purchase address for this evening's visit to the Cotton Club. Ladies you must purchase an outfit for yourself and guys pick up something special for your gal to wear tonight. Make sure to sketch your outfit or print out a picture of it and tape it to your worksheet. Visit this vintage clothing store located at the corner of Edgecombe Avenue and W 138th Street, to pick something up.
2. Next head to Big Apple Jazz Store at the corner of 7th Avenue and W 132nd Street. Make sure to mark the jazz store on your map and record information about one of the artists on your worksheet. Read the biography and then head over to YouTube and search for a song to listen to by that artist. You will need to go to YouTube and search for that artist after you've read their biography.

4. You must stop and get dinner at Tillie's Chicken Shack located at the corner of 7th Avenue and W 120th Street. Tillie's was one of the most popular restaurants in Harlem during the 20s and 30s. You can eat with either Marcus Garvey or W.E.B.DuBois. Make sure you mark the restaurant on your map and record information about the man you eat with.
5 & 6. Your final stop is the corner of Lenox Avenue and W 142nd Street - The Cotton Club. Stay and listen to the music of either Duke Ellington or Bessie Smith (you will need to look up a song on YouTube after reading the bio). Make sure you mark the club on your map and record information about the club and artist you watched perform. Search for the artist on YouTube to find a song to listen to.
