Process

1. Take out a notebook and pen. Write down on a single piece of paper every word that comes to mind when thinking of "emotions" or "feelings". Try to give a simple explanation for each emotion your write down, either a synonym or an example situation that would make you feel that way.

2. Read the list of emotions and their meanings in the vocabulary document in the Tasks section. Try to connect or contrast some of the emotions with each other on another piece of paper. You'll find many similarities and/or differences between many of them. Read online if you need or want different or more explanations.

3. Take a trip down memory lane and start recalling the past. What events first come to mind? Why do you think you remember them the fastest? What emotion did you feel most strongly at the time? Write down the event as a descriptive short story if you feel comfortable sharing it with the class. Remember to write down the main emotion at the top of the story. Write at most 4 short stories.

4. If you can draw or find suitable pictures to describe your emotions at the time of the events, feel free to include them with your stories.

The stories should be short (a paragraph or a bit more long) and descriptive. The better your writing and the more your effort, the better your grade! Do your best and you'll be rewarded!
