Task 2:
Think about a loved one who has passed away. Answer these questions about what you would include on that person's Ofrenda and why.
Write one paragraph containing a story about or a memory of that person.
1. Whose picture would you include?
2. What things would you use to represent that person? Why?
3. What kind of present would you leave?
4. What does every traditional Altar include?
5. What do some of those things represent?
6. What features of your loved one would you include on his or her Sugar Skull?
(For example, a sugar skull of Harry Potter would have a yellow lightning bolt above the left eyebrow, green eyes, and black, circular glasses.)
Writing:
Write one paragraph containing a story about or a memory of that person.
Task 3:
Draw a picture of the Sugar Skull you would make to represent your loved one.
