Being Matured Through the Sacrament of Confirmation

As we all know, the apostles were personally chosen by Jesus Christ. They did not just meet Jesus in person but also spent much of their lives with him. Hence, we can say that they got more than what we get in the Sacrament of Baptism. However, it seems that living together with Jesus was not enough. The Holy Spirit still needed to come to them to give its gifts.

When we receive the holy spirit during the Sacrament of confirmation, we “receive the power” to do our responsibilities as Christians. However, we cannot receive this unless we received the sacrament correctly.
