CONJUNCTION
Process
There are three type of Conjunctions
1. Coordinating Conjunction
- Connect words to words, phrases to phrases, clauses together in a sentence that is grammatically equal.
- The most common coordinating conjunctions are : For, And , Nor, But, Or, Yet, So = FANBOYS (Single word).
- Whenever there are two complete sentences joined by one of the "FANBOYS" conjunction, insert comma before the conjunction.
2. Correlative Conjunction
- A pair of conjunction used to show a comparison
- Connect two words, phrases to phrases, clauses together , grammatically parallalel.
- Compound = Verb and verb , adjective and Adjective, adverb and adverb , verb and adjective, pronoun and adverb, Preposition.
3. Subordinating Conjunction
- Connects the subordinate dependent clause and the main clause.
- Clause have subject and predicate and object if it is necessary.
- Clauses there are two type :
Made up/has two independent clauses .
B. Dependent clauses -> Cannot stand alone as a complete sentences
B. Dependent clauses -> Cannot stand alone as a complete sentences
Has an independent and dependent clauses.
