 Theteacher will place items in a bag and tell the students that she found it onher way to school. The teacher will take articles out one by one and make alist on the board. She will then ask students to make guess about the owner ofthe items in the bag are most likely to be. Step1: The teacher will give students somesenarios in which they are to guess the meaning beind each. The students willthen share the clues that were given that helped in their assumptions and thelist of strategies will be recored on the board.

Step2: Each student will be given aworksheet  to complete on makinginfrences . The teacher along with the student will complete the first senarioand answer the questions together and the rest done individually.

CulminatingActivityEstimated time (35mins)

   Each student will be given a pictures story for them to write aparagraph about what they think is taking place. After which they will presenttheir findings
