Senior Project 2015-2016

            I actually plan on working on the out of body experience first, that way I can save up money for or find the materials for the tattoo look book. The dream painting on the days where I�m not inspired enough to work on the look book or the out of body experience painting / project. I hope to abide by this schedule, if I don�t I will catch up using lunch and art guild so that these project will be complete by the deadlines that I have set for myself.

Week 1 (09/08/15)

            This week will be focused on erasing Bailey�s sketches on the big canvas and then re-gessoing the canvas until the marks are faint. If I have time I will start sketching the basic elements of the room scene in the painting.

Week 2 (09/14/15)

            This week will focus on putting the side panels together so that I can sketch the sides of the canvas out and then I�ll be adding on the second canvas on the backs of each ofthe frames, then sketching the doors out on those (the backs of the canvas frames).

Week 3 (09/21/15)

                This week I will be finishing what I have left over from last week. I�m going to deem every three weeks or the shorter weeks as catch up weeks and they�ll be to make sure I work on something else to keep me interested in this big project.        

Week 4 (09/28/15)

                This week I want to start washing the various canvases then sketching the outlines of things with paint.

Week 5 (10/05/15)

                This week is homecoming week. With shortened classes and less focus in classes, I�ll be taking a break from the large painting to start organizing ideas for the look book or working on my dream painting, so I won�t mess up the large painting.

Week 6 (10/12/15)

                This is a three day week, but with regular classes I�ll hope to be focusing on either the doors of the painting or the main room of the painting.

Week 7 (10/19/15)

                I�ll be painting the details into the window, the chairs, and paintings on the big painting.

Week 8 (10/26/15)

                This week will be all about the details in the doors of the out of body experience painting.

Week 9 (11/02/15)

                This is a catch up week if I�m falling behind and I�ll be putting the hinges on the canvases to create the doors and the handles will be placed as well.

Week 10 (11/09/15)

                Any final details will be put on the out of body experience painting/project. The tattoo look book project will fully begin this week. Starting with sketches and inspiration photos being sketched out or gathered for this project and selecting the correct book or binder.

Week 11 (11/16/15)

                This is tech week for the fall play, I must admit that will be my main focus mentally,but I will be looking up meanings behind the symbols and colors in tattoos that I have currently gathered this week to move the project along.

Week 12 (11/23/15)

                This is the week of senior retreat and Thanksgiving break. I will be gone on retreat so there will be no work days this week.

Week 13 (11/30/15)

                I will continue to gather the tattoos and their inspiration pictures and stories,typing out their symbolism or meaning to me. I will also start creating the pages to put these on with various scrapbooking techniques or simply organizing them onto the pages.

Week 14 (12/07/15)

                This is an odd week of the year. Monday we have full class, so that will be dedicated to the look book (this week I�m hoping to determine where I�d like to put each of these tattoos on my body). Tuesday we�re off school. Wednesday we have mass,with the shorten class I want to work on my dream painting. We also have a mass schedule on Thursday for the Christmas concert practice, the class period will be focused on the dream painting and hopefully I�ll be able to get a pass from Mrs. Needham to work on the dream painting again so that I can get it done before Christmas break. Friday is a regular late start schedule, I�ll be working on the little details of the look book.

Week 15 (12/14/15)

                This is the week of / before finals. I�ll be making sure everything on the out of body experience painting is up to par to be critiqued on finals and with help from the lunch hour / my time in art guild I hope to be done with my dream painting as well. The tattoo look book will not be complete until after winter break because I want to use a few days of my winter break to go to various tattoo parlors in my area (with phone calls to them prior to my visits) to see if they could estimate prices on each of the tattoos or even the lengths of sessions that it will take for each one. This will be trial and error period and during this time period I�ll be fixing little details of the book at home.

Week 16 (12/21/15)

                This is the last two days of finals and the beginning of Christmas break. There will be little to no work done during this time.

Week 17 (12/28/15)

                The second week of Christmas break I will be calling and visiting tattoo parlors or emailing with tattoo artists to get quotes / prices. If this doesn�t work out I�ll focuson perfecting the book. Also, this week I�ll be brainstorming senior projectideas for second semester.

Week 18 (01/04/16)

                This week is only a little weird with a day off on Monday and Mass on Wednesday, but this week I�ll be updating my proposal, or creating a new one, with ideas forprojects for the second semester to be submitted in the next week. This proposal will be written after I run the new ideas by Mrs. Needham first.

Week 19 � the last week of school

                These weeks are undetermined because my three main projects are planned to be completed within the first semester / with winter break. These will be left upto new ideas and my second proposal.

** These timelines are not including possible snow days, since school might be closed on certain days I might have to change some of my tattoo look book days to dream painting days to make sure that both of my paintings are done by finals. The look book can be worked on at home to save time or can be pushed to that first week of second semester if need be. The meaning behind the dragon in my dream painting will be research and typed out during an art guild period to save class time that I already have planned out.
