The History of Paper and Paper Making
Process
First you are going to take a virtual tour of the Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking to learn about the invention of paper, how it was originally made, and the eventual creation of paper mills to speed up production. Make sure you have your worksheet close by; as you go through the virtual tour you will answer the questions on your worksheet.

Once you have finished the virtual tour you will watch two videos, one about how paper was made traditionally and one about how paper is made in a paper mill. Once you have watched these videos you will write a 1-2 paragraph essay comparing the two paper making methods and explaining why the invention of paper mills has transformed the paper making industry. Make sure to follow the rubric provided.
