1. You should first go to the Interactive Rock Cycle website by utilizing the link below. Once you are there please read ALL information and begin with "Types of Rocks". 


2. Read through the information of the different types of rocks and be sure to pay close attention to the chart at the bottom of the page. Then click "Next: Start Your Rock Collection". 

3. Click begin and follow the directions of the rock collection page. Learn about the specific kinds of rocks. Once you have added ALL of the rocks to your collection move on to "Identify Rock Types".

4. Participate in the activity that helps you identify rocks. Once you have finished the activities move on to "How Rocks Change".

5. Read through all information and watch the animation on heat and pressure to get a visual on exactly how it works. Then click "next".

6. Continue reading about how rocks change and then watch the animations on melting and cooling. Click "next" once completed. 

7. Continue reading about how rocks change and then watch the animations on weathering and erosion and compacting and cementing. 

8. Once you have completed the reading and watched the animations click on "Transform the Rock". Follow the directions and complete the activity to the best of your ability, using your newly acquired knowledge. 

9. Once you have completed the activity move onto the "Rock Cycle Diagram". Read all the information and then explore the interactive rock cycle diagram to gain more useful information. 

10. Move onto the "Complete the Cycle" activity. 

11. Once you have completed the activity move onto "Test Your Skills" and take the quick quiz to test your knowledge. 

12. When you have completed the quiz, decide what rock you would like to present information on and create your very own Prezi to present to the class.
