1.       1. You will use the provided website and its tutorial to learn about the plant cell, its organelles, and the function for each organelle. Afterwards you will play the labeling game. You will complete this game with 100% accuracy.

2.       2. Once you have learned the plant cell’s organelles and their functions, you will split into groups of four. In these groups you will think of a plant cell as a community or city.Take each organelle in the plant cell, name it, write its function in the cell, and think of a real-life job in the “community” that the organelle performs for the city. Once you have your ideas for this written down and organized, you will make some sort of visual that organizes this, which you will present to the class. These visuals can be: a poster, graphic organizer, power  point, etc. Be sure to use pictures  both of the organelle and the job you envision for it. Don’t forget to name your “community”or “city”. You will have two class periods or days to complete this project. To know how this is to be graded please read the rubric for the plant cell project.

3.      3. You will go to this website to read about vascular and non vascular plants and the differences each hold.Once you have read this, go to this website and take a brief quiz on the below link. You should be able to do this with 80% accuracy.

    4. Once you have completed the quiz, you will read this power point on angiosperms and gymnosperms, read this carefully, and answer the questions it asks along the way on a clean sheet of paper. As a class, you will review your answers for these questions.

5.     5. Next you will learn about fungi. Go to this website, read and watch the animations and take the short quizzes afterwards to check what you have learned. While on this website, you will go  through each of these: 1. What are fungi   2. The structure of the mushroom    3. The life cycle of the mushrooms   4. How are spores distributed.

6.     6. To finish up what we've learned, watch this short video on fungi and nature.
