Figurative Emotions
Process
INSTRUCTIONS: In order to improve your powers of analysis and interpretation, I have selected 3 sets of figurative images, each with a different subject matter. Your challenge is to compare and contrast both the formal design AND the expressed emotions/psychological states of the pre-selected primary image with ONE of the other two pre-selected secondary images in each set.
In order to accomplish this, you need to open a Word document, type "Figurative Emotions WebQuest" at the top along with your name and block. Then, number the sets 1-3. For each one, click on the links provided and then copy and past the primary image and your selected secondary image side-by-side into the document and compare and contrast them in bullets or a narrative paragraph below the pair of images. As you compare and contrast, you must use the focus that I have determined for each set. Save the document to your Sharepoint site AND print it in black and white. Staple pages together if more than one page.
Note: as you visit each site, if information on the image is provided, read it (!) and see if it helps you accomplish the task.
