In order to advise the Goosebump family about their move, you must research the annual temperatures of each of the five states over a period of recent years.  You will also consider extreme weather that affects the area and any weather trends you notice that will help predict the weather in the future.  Please read the following steps and procede accordingly.  Have Fun!!

1.  Research the weather of each state (New York, Maine, Florida, North Carolina and Virginia) for a particular recent year.  Compute the Mean temperature for each state for that year.

2.  Compute the Mean for the five states in other recent years using other sites provided and draw conclusions after comparing the Mean for each year and noticing any patterns for the future weather.

3.  Consider any extreme weather reported in the sites below when forming your decision.

4.  Make a graph or chart to show your results.  You can use the most recent year for each state, or you may choose to show multiple years or average the years together!  Just make sure you explain how you reached your results.

5.  Draw a conclusion and advise the Goosebump family where they should move to find the weather they are looking for!
