Greek Gods and Goddesses: Worthy of praise?
Process
Step one: Get with a partner. Discuss the nature of the assignment and the best way to approach attainment of your goals.
Step two: Review the list of gods and goddesses. Look at the graphic organizer for the gods and goddesses and be ready to locate enough information to fill in each column for each god and goddess.
Step three: You and your partner visit the websites below to find all the information to fill in the gods and goddesses chart. One possible approach would be to each look at the same website simultaneously on both your computers, but search for different information on each god or goddess, then share your findings.
Step four: Fill in the charts linked on the bottom of this page with all necessary information. Include a small picture for each. Put both your names on the one chart and print two copies.
Here are the websites you will need to visit:
For pictures:
www.google.com (then search Images)
For research on the gods and goddesses:
http://www.mythweb.com/gods/index.html
http://www.pantheon.org/mythica.html
http://www.thanasis.com/store/olympian.htm
http://www.messagenet.com/myths/names.html
http://www.messagenet.com/myths/funfact1/index.html (Quiz yourself on the gods and goddesses for fun.)
Step five: Use www.citationmachine.net to build a Works Cited page that has a ctiation for each website from which you get information. You will create this in Microsoft Word, print it upon completion and attach it to the print outs of your gods and goddesses charts.
