Mapping of the U.S

* Students will get into four different groups.

* Each group will be assigned a Region-NorthEast, SouthEast, SouthWest, Midwest,West  **SouthEast and SouthWest will be combined**

* Label the states and the capitals in the region.

* Label important bodies of water, landforms (physical), climate, resources, and landmarks. 

* Color each region a different color **S-Yellow, W-Red, MW-Orange, NE-Green**

* Using the website Fact Monster find at least 3 interesting facts about two states. (Links are located Below)

* Cut out the map and place all the regions together to from the map of the United States.

* Each group will present their region and each member will present his or her findings.
