Ready to win?!

First: You must answer the following questions. You may use the websites located
at the bottom of the page to help you.

    1. Imagine a lottery game where you pick 6 numbers out from 1-60.
For the winning number, their order matters. What is the probability of winning the lottery?

   2. Imagine a lottery game where you pick 6 numbers out from 1-60.
This time, their order does not matter. What is the probability of winning this lottery?

Recall that from chapter 9, a permutation is an arrangement of things in a definite order
The formula for a permutation is:     nPr=   n!
                                                                                      (n-r)!
Recall that from chapter 9, a combination is an arrangement of things with no definite order.
The formula for a combination is:     nCr=   n!
                                                                                      r!(n-r)!

Second: On a word document, explain the steps you took in order to solve the two problems above. This should be in full sentences.
Remember that spelling and grammar must be accurate.

Third: Go to the Pennsylvania Lottery website. Here you will get an idea of how some lottery games work.
Click on "games" on the left hand side of the webpage.
In the "games", click "Quinto".
Scroll down and click "Click here to view game demo".
Click "show me".
Once you have viewed the demo, go back and click "play" instead of "demo".
Do the same thing, except this time you are going to play "Treasure Hunt" instead of "Quinto".

Fourth: Create two of your own problems and type them into your word document. Create one for permutations and one for combinations. You must base your two questions on one or both of the games you played above. Once you have created your questions, you will solve them and then explain how you solved them in paragraph form in the document.
Your name must be on the top of the document. If you are working in a group of two, both group member's names should be on the document. If there are no names, no credit for the assignment will be received.

Bonus Opportunity!
Create your own lottery ticket. Make it appealing and interesting.
