1. The teacher will put each student in a group and assign each group a holiday to reasearch.

2. Go to the websites and watch the short video listed under your holiday to find the answers to these questions:

Why is this holiday celebrated?
When is this holiday celebrated?
What are some of the traditions that people partake in during this holiday?
Are there any special decorations for this holiday? If so what are they?
Are there any special foods eaten on this holiday? If so what are they?
Are there any special iconic people that are associated with this holiday?

3. Create a poster to teach the class about your holiday.
The poster must include:
*The answers to the holiday questions which should be written in complete sentences.
*It should also contain pictures about the holiday, which can be printouts or drawings.
*Each student needs to explain the traditions their family participates in during this holiday.(if they celebrate it)

4. Practice your presentation with your group. Make sure each person has a speaking part.

5. Present your holiday poster and information to the class.
